Well,I'm going to share with you the procedures to apply to become a houseman in Malaysia.
First of all, you need to get a few things to prepare.
1. You need to apply through SPA online and fill up the application form.
2. Get and fill the Borang Maklumat Diri form,whereby you need to fill up your hospital preference where you want to work to.
After that...THE INTERVIEW PART
1. Prepare for interview,whether the pegawai SPA will come to your university or you need to go to certain centres allocated (depends on your insititution)
-Well, for my interview, we were devided in a group of 5 people.
-There will be 2 interviewers- One is from the KKM (Doctors), the other one is from SPA.
-Usually they just asked you some random question: They asked us to introduce ourselves,our hobbies,what field do you want to specialized on in future.
-Basically, NO NEED to study anything for the interview.=D
Then, AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED YOUR MEDICAL COURSE
1. Apply for provisional registration for houseman through MMC,get a so called blue letter which is the ticket for our induction letter on.
2. Wait for the SPA and MMC to send back the documents to you that are needed to be filled before the induction.
FOR INDUCTION
-usually after 1//2 months after you have done your medical course.
-It will be in 1 week,and you will know where you will be working on the first day of the induction,and you will start to work immediately after the induction.
-You will attend several seminars and classes and a test at the end of the induction.
-You can appeal for the placement of hospitals and will get to know the results on the last day of the induction.
